Our
Story
Sweet Sydney. She was my furry friend through a decade of hardship, and I loved that pup more than I can ever express.
I rescued Sydney when she was 6 months old, and in so many ways, she was the one who saved me. She gave me courage to leave an abusive situation and was my sidekick through the rocky path that followed.
We landed in Phoenix in 2016, and I turned my love for baking into making Sydney's treats and sharing with friends. And thus was born Sweet Sydney's Pupcakery!
Sydney passed in March 2022, and a month later, I found out I was pregnant with my daughter.
God gave me that furry pup to help with a divorce, losing both my parents and wandering like a nomad, trying to make sense of it all.
I'm happily remarried with a beautiful daughter and have roots in Arizona with an amazing adopted family. I get to share Sydney's treats with furry friends and show how God turns heartache into something beautiful.
For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.
